The Full Moon
Brought me to my knees
The Full Moon
Did not hear my pleas.
Thoughts screaming
In my head
Tears streaming –
Was I dead?
I hung on tight
To my sanity
I was challenged by Fate
For my vanity.
Ask for help
The voices said –
Am I dying?
Yes, you are dead.
And then, at last
The healing came –
And nothing would ever
Be the same.
