Somebody wonders
If you stand alone
In darkened rooms
Holding your head in your hands
As you watch your dreams
Slipping by –
And somebody wonders
If you cry for mercy, then.
Somebody wonders
If you laugh like a child
When the sun shines after
A downpour of rain.
And somebody wonders
If you dance in the wind
Like a soul liberated
By the passion of joy.
Somebody wonders
If you’re lonely and sad
And somebody cares
To know you’re finally glad.
And somebody wishes
That somebody could be
By your side when you are lonely
And need company.
Somebody wonders
If anyone
Is taking care of you.
And somebody wishes
That somebody could fight
All the fears and the pain
That stop you in mid-flight
To the skies
To the stars
To the Sun.
Somebody exists
Somebody who cares
And if you ever need a friend –
Somebody’s always here.

Absolutely love ” Somebody ”
Beautiful conveyance of offering shelter in a storm
Being unconditionally available – as a shoulder to lean on!
Lovely work my dear friend ❤️
Thank you so much, Brandon 🙏❤️🌷
Another classic from a young age, beautifully crafted.
