The full moon has special significance for me. This poem, written in 2021, describes the feeling of finally finding inner freedom and being reborn to one’s own power. The underlying themes are karma, rebirth and spirituality. Compare this poem to Full Moon in Virgo, from 2022.

Scorpio Full Moon behind clouds

I was pulled through

The Portal

On the Full Moon

Night.

Chased by my demons

Guided by my angels

I stared the Beast

In the eye.

And I took flight.

I soared through Lifetimes,

Crossed Timelines

Asking the Universe

To bless and forgive me.

I cast myself in prayer

At the mercy

Of my God and

Goddess.

I shed my skin

And found my Soul

I transformed

I metamorphosed.

And I flew that night

Through the Great Portal

Finally free and alive –

I became Immortal.

    Excellent !
Though I haven’t read all your poems, by far, and unfortunately, your mastery of language shines as always but here I appreciate the maturity I find in this poem from recent times.
I look forward to reading many more poems
