Autumn
As I sit by my window
All I can see is the sky
And the lovely fall.
Orange, red, yellow and golden –
The leaves falling
So slowly, so gracefully
As a ballerina with silver wings.
Someday
We too shall fall down
Ever so slowly, ever so gracefully –
Like the leaves falling
Outside my window.
Then I move away, shaken
From my little world of thoughts
Into the stark reality
That surrounds me.

Thanks so much ,Jas! Autumn is also my favourite season 🧡🍂
Wonderful flower of a poem you gardened at such a young age. Your ballerina skill deft as you navigate the world through your new eyes back then. Your little world of thoughts gave birth to the world you live in now. I adore this write, Vanita.
Thank you so much, this means a lot to me!🙏❤️
