I wrote this poem in 1985, 17 years old. This was a very spiritual phase in my life; I was inspired by the Christian and Hindu faiths on death and resurrection. Compare this poem to The Saviour (1983), offering redemption.
The Portal (Scorpio Moon)
The full moon has special significance for me. This poem, written in 2021, describes the feeling of finally finding inner freedom and being reborn to one’s own power. The underlying themes are karma, rebirth and spirituality. Compare this poem to
